Pastor - Kevin Bookout
Kevin has been serving as the pastor since July 2000. He grew up in this church and left Blackwell to attend Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College in 1976, receiving his Bachelor's degree in Theology in 1980. Kevin married Shara Stell in August 1981, and they returned to Blackwell in December 1984. Before becoming pastor, Kevin served in many positions in the church including church growth director, Christian eduaction director, youth leader, Sunday school teacher, deacon and has taught a weekly men's Bible study for 30+ years. Kevin and Shara have two daughters- Allison (and Sam) Simmons and Kara (and Rocky) Auterson. They have four grandchildren, Levi and Caleb Simmons and Katie and Emma Auterson plus one more on the way.
